Cosas que debes saber antes de estacionar en Miami Beach:
- Todos los lugares para estacionar son pagos. La mayoría de las calles tienen una o dos máquinas donde puedes pagar para parquear. (Mira este video para aprender cómo usarlos)
- Si estás en una calle y no ves medidores o una máquina para pagar, lo más probable es que estés en un área residencial y no puedas estacionar allí a menos que tengas un sticker especial.
- Los estacionamientos (parqueos / playas de estacionamiento) también tienen medidores o máquinas para pagar.
- A diferencia del estacionamiento en la calle y de los parqueos abiertos / playas de estacionamiento, donde debes pagar por adelantado, si estacionas en un garaje, pagarás al final de tu estadía. Es decir, cuando ingreses al garaje recibirás un boleto. Llévalo contigo (pero ponlo en un lugar seguro; si lo pierdes, puede ser un problema) Una vez que estés listo para partir, insertarás tu boleto en una máquina ubicada cerca de las entradas y salidas del garaje y te dirán cuánto debes. Además, estacionar en garajes es más barato que en la calle o en playas de estacionamiento.

- Street parking is free from 3am to 9am.
- Parking is enforced every day (yes, that means Sundays and holidays too)
- You must always park head on.
- You can park anywhere on the street as long as the curb is not painted.
- If you forget to pay and are parked properly (not in a restricted or forbidden area) you’ll get a ticket. Don’t worry, you WON’T GET TOWED.

Parking meter rates:
South of 23rd Street (South Beach):
Street parking anywhere south of 23rd Street is $4 per hour.
Parking lots anywhere south of 23rd Street are $2 per hour.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Seven days per week.
East Middle Beach Zone:
All metered parking from 23 Street to 44 Street; and from Collins Avenue to Indian Creek is $3 per hour for street parking and $2 per hour for parking lots.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Seven days per week.
West Middle Beach Zone:
All metered parking north of 23 Street and south of 63 Street (except for the East Middle Beach Zone) is $1 per hour both, on the street and in parking lots.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Seven days per week.
North Beach Zone:
All metered parking north of 63 Street is $1 per hour both, on the street and in parking lots.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Seven days per week.
